1. Empowering Women Education in Morocco, 2015-2018
Dar Taliba is a schooling support program developed by the "Mohamed V Foundation for Solidarity" to combat the dropout rates among rural children in Morocco. It has evolved to provide broader support, helping thousands of disadvantaged youths to continue their education and aspire to a better future. In collaboration with the Rabat American School in Morocco, I was involved in the Dar Taliba program, where I taught English to young girls from these rural areas. These girls often have to live far from their families to pursue their education. We also organized basketball activities and provided them with clothes and school supplies to support their studies and well-being.
2. Learning Through Music, 2018-2019
I initiated a program at my high school to teach guitar and organize football games for children from a local orphanage in Rabat, Morocco. The goal was to help them develop creative thinking through music by learning about percussion and string instruments, something that helped me when I was younger. In addition to music, we played football, another passion of mine, which encouraged teamwork and physical activity. This experience was a way to share something I enjoyed while creating an opportunity for other kids to learn and have fun.
